A Nativity Experience for Advent - Heaven Came Down
A Nativity Experience for Advent - Heaven Came Down is a hands-on, heart-centered journey that helps children enter deeply into the story of Jesus’ birth. Each day from December 1–25, children open one small box containing a nativity piece & booklet, a short Scripture-based story, discussion questions, and a simple prayer. This gentle rhythm invites families to slow down, wonder together, and discover how every part of the Nativity points to Jesus and His mission to save the world.
If you don’t have a nativity piece for every day, the included Advent Scripture Calendar provides daily readings you can use instead. Two blank booklets are also included so you can add additional nativity items from your own set.
To prepare, simply print, cut, and fold the 25 mini-booklets. Gather the nativity pieces, accessories, and one treat per child for each day (candy, stickers, temporary tattoos, etc.). Place each booklet & nativity item into a small box along with the treats. Label each box with the date—either December 1–25 or in countdown style, whichever your family prefers.
